About the role
As a BDR at Sitoo, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with potential customers, and pitching Sitoo products . You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers and will be responsible for establishing a positive relationship with them, while also identifying their business needs and challenges.
This role uses a variety of methods to make initial contact with prospects for Sitoo’s solution, with the goal of qualifying relevant targets and securing meetings for the sales team. In addition to outbound prospecting (telephone, email, LinkedIn, networking events, industry resources, etc) the Business Development specialist will qualify and nurture inbound leads (webinars registrations, event delegates, contact forms, etc).
Ideally, you will be coming from a software sales background, with existing business development experience. But we are also open to entry level candidates who are interested in sales. The job requires some travel, an aptitude for calling and networking with senior business targets, and an ability to convey (both verbally and in writing) a set of business messaging that articulates the need for Sitoo’s solution.
Responsibility
Qualify inbound leads into the appropriate point in the sales cycle.
Nurture in-target leads for brand and product awareness.
Identify and engage with potential customers through various outbound prospecting activities, such as cold calling, email, and social media outreach.
Conduct research on potential customers to understand their business needs and challenges, and tailor Sitoo's value proposition accordingly.
Ability to talk to senior management and articulate a clear benefit case.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities, and support the sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute on strategic sales campaigns.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential customers.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to help improve our offerings and go-to-market strategy.
Development and maintenance of prospect database with adherence to GDPR guidelines.
Produce weekly lead generation reports using Excel / CRM.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in a BDR or sales development role
Willing to cold call – hungry for results
Excellent written and verbal communication/sales skills – must be confident in communicating on behalf of Sitoo with executives and other leadership roles
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Strong understanding of the account development principles and execution
Lead generation/business development experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience using CRM software, and sales engagement tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
